Abstract: The method of fundamental parameters for XRF-analysis is intended to achieve a quantitative full analysis of an unknown sample by using only one standard or a few. The methods and the programs are explained. Experiences with the sequential. spectrometer S-MAX, different analytical tasks and sample presentations are reported.
