Abstract: The past year was a very successful one for both our machine and also our physics program. Sustained efforts in accelerator development at COSY have been rewarded with many highlights. The most outstanding of these was the successful acceleration of the proton beam up to the design momentum of 3300 MeV/c. This enabled the EDDA-collaboration to take precise data in pp-scattering in a continuous energy range from 0.5 to 2.5 GeV. The remarkable quality of the data is also testimony for the high spacial stability of the proton beam achieved during the acceleration process. Beams with various energies were delivered to all external experiment areas. In accordance with the needs of the experiments, the number of extracted particles was raised significantly to 10$^{8}$ per spill and the extraction period lengthened beyond two seconds improving the data quality substantially. Another achievement was the reduction in beam radius on the targets of the experiments to about 1 mm. This is of crucial importance for the reconstructions of vertices. Preparation of the 0$^{\circ}$-Facility and its detector system, which will be used for the study of the subthreshold K$^{+}$-production in proton-nucleus reactions and the proton-induced deuteron breakup, has advanced considerably in 1994. The special beam tube for the installation of COSY-13 has been implemented in the COSY-ring. With COSY having achieved its design energy, the internal beam experiment EDDA using a large solid angle scintillator hodoscope has entered its data production phase. A fiber target intercepting the circulating beam during acceleration. A perfect luminosity control and precise kinematic triggering has allowed COSY to measure the excitation functions of the spin averaged cross section of elastic proton-proton scattering over almost the full angular range.
