Abstract: The presented report includes those papers presented at the 8th meeting of the DP-QCWP in Winfrith which have been written bycollaborators of the Institut für Reaktorwerkstoffe der KernforschungsanlageJülich, together with other co-authors. The papersdeal with problems of standardizing characterization methods for the routine quality control of graphites and pyrolytic carbons as well as with more basic procedures (transmission electron microscopy, microporosity) for the analysis of pyrocarbon structure.
